Level A – Pre-Writing Exercise Schedule for 2-Year-Olds
This document contains activities along with explanations and guidance for implementation, whether in the classroom, during one-on-one tutoring, or at home through homeschooling. These activities include everything needed, step by step, including materials, to develop pre-writing skills in a playful and engaging way for children aged 2 to 3.
Activities include:
Finger movements, crumbling, brushing hair, tearing, scratching, dragging, string activities, bubbles, manipulation, washing, textures, fraying, opening and closing, pouring, distinguishing, peeling, smoothing-wrinkling, modeling, tracing practice, and gluing.
Development
During the first semester, in addition to the above-mentioned activities, the child should also create a free drawing on paper and perform the corresponding tracing—first in the air, and then over the trace that the teacher will have made for each child. The child should trace it using a small toy car or any other easily movable toy.
